Isabel Miramontes
Spanish Sculptor living in Belgium-
Isabel Miramontes was born in Santiago de Compostella in Spain. This eminent place of pilgrimage, which is of Celtic origin, the warm wind and sea, always fascinates her and remains for her a magical area.
-
The body, posture, movement and essence of human life are at the heart of Miramontes’ work. Abstract bodies cut into strips, Isabel Miramontes explores the concept of sculpture. At the height of the usual sculpture, she opposes an apparent emptiness. For her, sculpture is not a block of material to which a shape is given, sculpture is a void to which the artist gives a surface.
- The fascinating figure, the synthesis of forms and thoughts, expresses the reality of life with its moments of joy, but also drama, abandon and tension. Indeed a figure who most assuredly speaks to everyone at the very depth of their being...

HORIZON
*** First Edition, New Blue Color Available***New year, new horizon...
Hand in visor, the character of Isabel Miramontes scans the horizon, her body gently swept by the wind.
Is he waiting for better days, the return of a loved one, or is he simply admiring a sunset or the flight of a gull?
This sculpture is part of the theme of the wind and the seaside, dear to the artist from a coastal region, Galicia.
We find the aesthetics of Miramontes with these dancing bronze strips around the character and the affection of the artist for the contemplation of the sea, her gaze on the horizon, and the well-being of the caress of the wind...
Isabel Miramontes gives each of her sculptures a soul of his own. -

ROD
AN UNIQUE ART
A mixed world between reality and fantacy
• It was in Thailand that Rod experimented with the art of "Fragmentation", into creation of an unique wall installation from nature, resin and light. In constant search of living and dead substances, Rod practices coming together to weave stories through his spectacular installations. His wall sculptures take on the appearance of sometimes dense, sometimes minimalist patchworks, leaving neither the eye nor the heart indifferent.
• The process of Fragmentation gives ROD many possibilities to create, taking into consideration of art, wall architecture, resin art, design, photography, mixed-media and painting without limit. It is a photographical, graphic, conceptual and intellectual work based on a very simple process. ROD captures, fragments then mixes and gathers several powerful images to recompose a pixilated, structured and excessive whole that invades and takes over the space as well as the mesmerized spectator.

Lieven D'Haese
Belgian Sculptor Growing Up In Africa• 1957: born in Moanda, Congo
• Lieven D'Haese stems from a family of sculptors (among them Reinhoud/ Cobra and Roel d’Haese) and musicians. He followed courses in painting and graphics at the Saint-Luke Institute in Brussels and Ghent, and at the Art School in Aalst.
• The figures of Lieven D'Haese sometimes look like characters playing a role in forgotten stories. He takes us on a journey…, on African rhythms, with a lot of delicacy and poetry. Lieven Haese’s works are touching, human and reveal a very positive message to those who know how to look at them.
